Plastics & Rubber Industry Chillers: Classified by application equipment, including chillers for injection molding, extrusion molding, thermoforming, blow molding, compression molding, film blowing, cast film, calendering film, cast film, open milling, PU shoemaking machinery, leather embossing, etc.

 

Chillers used for cooling molds in plastic processing machinery can significantly improve the surface smoothness of plastic products, reduce surface marks and internal stress, prevent product shrinkage and deformation, facilitate demolding, accelerate product setting, thereby enhancing both product quality and production efficiency.

 

After plastic pellets are heated and melted, they are injected into molds. After solidification, the molds open to eject the formed plastic parts. In continuous production, mold cooling is essential to shorten plastic solidification time, improve dimensional accuracy, molding quality, and surface quality.

 

During the production of plastic containers, blow-molded bottles, and packaging films, if the products cannot be cooled and shaped promptly, the resulting containers may lack fullness, have uneven wall thickness, dull color, or even fail to form properly, leading to inferior product quality. Using a chiller not only greatly improves product quality but also increases production efficiency.

 

Water-Cooled Standard Chiller

 

Compressor: Utilizes fully enclosed flexible scroll compressors. Simple structure, no wear on compression components, low torque variation, high balance, energy-efficient, stable, reliable, easy to operate, and simple to automate.

 

Shell-and-Tube Condenser: Employs externally threaded copper tubes, designed with CAD/CAM technology and manufactured using CNC machining centers. The effective heat transfer area is calculated based on heat dissipation, water flow rate, and fouling factor, with a 5-10% margin. Both end caps are easily removable for convenient maintenance.

 

Evaporator: Features a steel-plastic composite shell and coil heat exchanger. The heat transfer tubes are internal threaded tubes, representing advanced small-channel technology derived from heat transfer enhancement. A special tube layout achieves high heat transfer coefficients, improving unit efficiency. The shell is steel-plastic composite, with the water-contact surface made of sealed engineering plastic, offering strong corrosion resistance and long service life. The unique design has undergone multiple freeze tests with no internal or external rupture, demonstrating excellent freeze resistance. The detachable shell allows easy maintenance and cleaning.

 

Control System: Industrial-grade centralized control system with a full Chinese interface and menu prompts for easy operation. Enables real-time monitoring of unit status and adjustment of operating modes, accurately matching refrigeration capacity with cooling load to ensure efficient operation and reduce costs. Integrates multiple protections: water flow, low temperature, high/low pressure, anti-freeze, reverse phase/phase loss, delayed start, overload, over-temperature, and oil pressure differential. Accurately controls temperature within ±1°C. User-friendly and reliable.

 

Casing: Fully enclosed cabinet with electrostatic spray-coated shell, offering an aesthetically pleasing design.

Air-Cooled Chiller

No additional cooling water pumps or cooling towers are needed. Reliable operation, easy cleaning, strong cooling capacity, low noise, long lifespan, and simple operation. Particularly suitable for areas with water scarcity or high water hardness.
