The machine structure is simple, with only one-tenth the number of parts of a piston compressor, fewer vulnerable components, no suction or discharge valves, no expansion process, a high single-stage pressure ratio, and low sensitivity to liquid slugging. The built-in oil separator reduces oil carryover to less than 1.5%, improving the heat exchange efficiency of the evaporator and condenser, making it more energy-efficient and durable. Capacity control enables 10%–100% stepped or stepless energy regulation. Through multi-compressor coordination and PLC control technology, the unit achieves high energy efficiency ratios under both full and partial loads, significantly reducing operating costs.
Shell-and-Tube Condenser: Employs externally threaded copper tubes, designed and manufactured with CAD/CAM technology and CNC machining. The effective heat transfer area is calculated based on heat dissipation, water flow rate, and fouling factor, with a 5–10% margin. Both end caps are easily removable for convenient maintenance.
Evaporator: Features a U-shaped evaporator with internal threaded heat exchange tubes and a patented helical baffle design that ensures more uniform water flow. This design overcomes the drawbacks of segmental baffles, such as flow resistance, high pressure drop, stagnant flow zones, susceptibility to fouling, small average temperature difference for heat transfer, and vulnerability to failure under vibration. Under the same operating conditions, it can reduce pressure drop by approximately 45% and increase the heat transfer coefficient by 20%–30%. For the same heat load, the heat exchanger size can be significantly reduced.
Flooded Unit: Advantages of the flooded evaporator:
A. Fully wetted heat transfer surface, enhancing evaporator efficiency and increasing the system’s low-pressure side pressure.
B. Liquid refrigerant boils on the shell side of the evaporator, resulting in smaller pressure losses and more uniform temperatures. Since the vapor entering the compressor is close to a saturated state, compressor efficiency and mass flow rate are improved.
C. Compact size, lightweight, and high refrigeration capacity, reducing energy consumption by 10%–15% compared to dry-type units of the same class, fully demonstrating the unit’s energy efficiency.
Control System: Industrial-grade centralized control system with a PIC controller and a 7-inch color touch screen. Features a full Chinese interface with menu prompts for easy operation. Allows real-time monitoring of unit status and adjustment of operating modes, accurately matching refrigeration capacity with cooling load to ensure stable operation and reduce costs.
