During this March 18th-20th, a comprehensive large-scale pet fair was held in Guangzhou, China by Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group, covering dogs, cats, ornamental fishes, amphibians, reptiles, etc. Based on the development trends of society and economy, and the needs of global pet industry, this fair was hosted in an attempt to introduce pet industry to the masses and society, establish a wholesome relationship between human and pets, and promote a healthy pet industry. On the spot of the fair, 150 standard booths were set up in the amphibians and reptiles exhibition hall, covering dozens of turtles and reptiles. Attracting the attention of over 200 online and professional media, the fair was also the first actual exhibition for amphibians and reptile pet in China Mainland. 

In order to embrace the arrival of a new age of pet and leisure, Grandeur Group is looking further into turtle industry and at the same time letting turtle insiders get to know us. Based on this mutual trust, Grandeur Group will be joining hands with insiders to host the 2nd China (Guangzhou) International Amphibians and Reptiles Expo (ARE 2017).
 
This December, Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group, the organizer of ARE 2017, staged an activity called Year-end Yacht Salon of Rare Breed Turtle in Guangzhou. 
 
 
This activity was attended by about 60 industry leaders, such as Mr. Chang Liyi, President of Reptile Branch of China Fisheries Association, Mr. Dong Yansheng, Chairman of Kangyida Biotech, Mr. Yuan Houpei, Chairman of Chinese Box Turtle National Breeding Base, Mr. Wei Jianquan, Vice President of Guangdong Reptile Breeding Industry Association, Ms. Chen Huimei, President of Guangzhou Reptile Breeding Association, Mr. Huang Weiqiu, President of Shenzhen Reptile Breeding Association, Mr. Yin Jinghao, Guangxi Liuzhou, President of Reptile Breeding Association, Mr. Chen Junwen, President of Xinyi Reptile Breeding Association, Me. Wu Jinxuan, a national professional of breeding small water turtles, etc.
 
 
The contents of this activity contained 2 parts. The first part was a cruise where guests were accompanies by Mr. Wang Dengyun, General Manager of Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group, Mr. Ma Yunfei and Mrs Fu Yeli, 2 project managers of ARE 2017, and discussed the past, present and future of turtle industry, the latest technologies and management methods, the market trends of 2017, etc. 
 
 
On site, Exhibition Channel of Guangdong Radio and Television Station interviewed  several domestic renowned and influential turtle breeding professionals, such as Mr. Li Yi, Mr. Dong Yansheng, Mr. Yuan Houpei, etc, and based on their experience, they shared their opinions on the value of turtles, the development cycle of turtle industry and the next market trends.
 
 
The second part was Rare Breed Turtle Salon. Preceded by a remark from Mr. Wang Dengyun, General Manager of Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group, Mr. Ma Yunfei, project manager of ARE 2017, collected guests’ opinions on the Rare Breed Turtle Award. 
 
Presided over by Mr. Ma Yunfei, the meeting proceeded smoothly. Revolving around the geographical and social advantages of Guangzhou and the influence of ARE 2017 on the industry, the guests expressed their views on the future of ARE.  
 
 
A conclusion was reached that the theme of 21th century was leisure and ARE complied with this development trend. The success of the first ARE sufficed to show that turtle industry had drawn the attention of Guangzhou such a international big city, which could have a far-reaching impact on the industry. Adjustment to the turtle market was nearly finished and the boom of turtle industry was going to happen any moment. ARE 2017 would be the opening salvo for the to-be prosperous turtle industry and motivate more people to engage in the protection, breeding, and keeping of turtles. In the end, amid resounding applause, the Rare Breed Turtle Award was officially launched. 
 
 
Based on the successful experience of CPF 2016 (China Guangzhou International Pet Industry Fair 2016), GIAS 2016 (Guangzhou International Aquarium Show 2016) and ARE 2016, Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group will organize the Rare Breed Turtle Award and ARE 2017 to vitalize Chinese turtle market.
